HKS Designs is run by me - Heather Sayles.  I began making cards in 2006 and learnt a lot from reading blogs and craft magazines.  I've been creative in some form or other since I was young and my blog hopping made me aware of a few other crafts I'd tried as a child but forgotten!  I started branching out by making bags and iPhone covers, mostly for myself and just to experiment, as well as a bit of knitting too (although that wasn't so successful! hehe).  All the beautiful blogs out there inspired me to try my hand at making jewellery in 2008.

I love the variety of bead styles available; all the colours and textures of beads and the many types of findings to make something that is truly unique.  I also enjoy the actual making of each item, coming up with something original on the spur of the moment or tweaking and changing the design as it's built. 

I'm based in Lancashire in the North West of England.  I'm happy to mail wherever you'd like and am always interested in trying something new.  I'm starting to expand into wedding and event stationery and hope that it will be successful.
